My name is Daniel Roytas (MHSc Human Nutrition, BHSc Naturopathy) and I started Humanley in early 2020 with the intention of creating a continuing professional education platform for allied health and complementary medicine practitioners. I always thought I had a pretty good understanding about health, until I started talking with a diverse range of health professionals from around the world, both in my personal life and on the Humanley podcast. I quickly realised that most of what I had learned throughout my formal education (10+ years at various universities and colleges) was wrong. As one would expect, this was quite confronting, but it was the wake up call I needed to set me on a new journey to discover the truth about health and wellness.
After working in clinical practice for over 10 years, it’s clear that many people are confused about what causes disease, how they can prevent it and what they need to do to become well again. Health has become so over-complicated, it’s no wonder people don’t know where to start. How are people supposed to heal when they don’t realise that the body has a remarkable capacity to heal itself? How is the body supposed to heal when it doesn’t have the things that it needs? What are the things that the body needs to heal itself? These are the questions we hope to answer for you at Humanley in our blog, podcast, webinars and short courses.
Health is simple, it just requires the right tools and a little bit of know-how. This is why Humanley is dedicated towards challenging the status quo on all things health & wellness, as well as providing people with the knowledge and tools that they require to take control over their own health, to live long, happy, fulfilling lives. We are also focused on providing high quality, clinically relevant continuing education to practitioners so that they can take their practice to the next level and help their clients achieve optimal health.
